Rules and Regulations
The rules and regulations for winning these coveted awards are:
- The scholarships will be awarded to principals or full-time employees of a SAAGNY member company. Applicants must be active in the industry for a minimum of two years.
- Each scholarship winner may attend any program or seminar that will
- expand their knowledge of the promotional products industry
- enhance professional development
- provide necessary skills to run a profitable business
- This Scholarship may be used for expenses incurred while attending the PROMOTIONS EAST Education Program
- The scholarship may be used within a two-year time period and includes expenses for tuition, housing, meals and round-trip travel
- Maximum value of scholarship: $1,500.00 (may change annually)
- Scholarship recipients must submit information on the program/seminar selected to the Scholarship and Award Committee for approval
- Up to three Distributor and three Supplier/Multi-Line Representative awards will be presented
- Your application should be submitted typewritten on plain paper. DO NOT USE COMPANY LETTERHEAD
- Provide a summary of your industry experience, why you feel you are deserving of the scholarships and what you expect to achieve from the program.
- The application must be approved by the employees owner/manager or, if applicable, home office.
- The Scholarship and Awards Committee will review all applications, and, if necessary, interview the applicant before selection.
- Previous winners may apply every fourth year.
